Description

Certain articles in my world anvil cannot be searched for or linked. Ive added two collages of the problem. I can find the articles in the new interface search. I cannot find the article in the old article/world search. the articles do not show up when typed into the world search (which my readers/players can access). they do however show up if one ESC out of the search and then lists all articles of that search subject. I also cannot link them. Though I can copy the textual link if I have the problem-article open, go to advanced options, go to metadata, copy it and then paste it. I have around 7400 articles, this is probably the case for a good 15 of them, some are organizations, some are people etc. I've even tried to add the hashtag eclipse to the "eclipse" article to make it searchable/findable, however this has not changed anything. otherwise the articles work. i can add people to the organization, i can add leaders etc.   Link: https://imgur.com/a/OCeyaQB

i wish i knew how to replicate it as it seems to happen at random, to only percentually few articles every now and again

I'm taking a look at this.
To clarify, I have a couple of questions:
  1. You say "world search" a couple of times, and once you mention the Presentation Mode (where visitors to your world can search for articles). The specific articles do not appear there as a result?
  2. Are these articles that share a name with other articles (regardless of template type)?
  3. Are the affected articles marked as Draft or WIP (Work in Progress)?
  4. You say the world is private, and likely that means the articles are too. Do the articles have subscriber groups attached to them?
  5. As a follow-up to the previous question, if you share the direct link to your visitors, can they access the articles?

1. with world search i mean the old editor interface, the https://www.worldanvil.com/world/athena/. I still mainly use this old overview when creating articles and navigating the world. the specific articles do not show up in the old "world search", neither do they show up when being in world-view and searching for the article in the search bar. I added some more pics to imgur: imgur files. I could have specified better.
2. there is two that overlap with articles of the same name, but others. one is a band/organization eclipse but there is also a spell called eclipse in the wiki[ for example but not all have duplicatesbr] 3. no
4. yes every article gets a designated subscriber group or group of subscriber groups attached to it
5. yes, if i share it directly, they can open it/view it normally
