I'm an introvert, and while I like people in real life (I do find my fellow humans fascinating and delightful . . . mostly), I eschew social media. I realize this makes it hard to stalk me online. :) I'm kind of in permanent stealth mode. This is an excellent and useful skill, except when you need to find me. People will often overlook me even when I'm sitting in the middle of a room. I'm the flavor of extra where I'll plant a persimmon tree because they don't sell them where I live, and I want to see what they taste like. Or teach myself philosophy just to follow a whim. Or make my own cape, because if I must wear winter attire, why be boring?
Martial arts, music (playing and listening to - mostly classical/ballads/movie music), granny hobbies like gardening and sewing and stuff.
In which genre? I don't pick favorites, I pick Top 10's. I read everything from fantasy and sci-fi to theology and philosophy to how-to books. My one exception: romance. If it's got a straight romantic plot, I'll probably pass.
Isaiah, J.R.R. Tolkien, Rachel Neumeier, Megan Whalen Turner, Rosemary Sutcliff, Dante Alighieri, Timothy Zahn, George MacDonald, too many others to mention
